Roman hairpin with female bust, 2nd century, after a find from Xanten, polished bone, approx. 13 cm
This hairpin, based on a find from Xanten, is decorated with a female bust. Particular attention was paid to reproducing the fashionable hairstyle, which allows the hairpin to be dated to the 2nd century.
